History of the Showcase Series
The Mid Atlantic Showcase Series has roots dating back to 2004 via a preliminary four-team 16AA tournament. Over time, the Series has grown into four of the Mid Atlantic region’s premier youth ice hockey tournaments held within Greater Philadelphia: The Mid Atlantic Summer, Winter, and Spring Showcases; and the Mid Atlantic Mite Showdown. Organized and directed by local current coaches and ex-players, the USA Hockey-Sanctioned Showcase Series prides itself on providing not only fun, competitive, and safe on ice play between its participating clubs; but also, professional and personal tournament operations focused on ongoing communication.
As we continue down the Showcase Series path, we want to thank all who have helped make our previous Showcase Series tournaments a success in the past as well as new participants this coming year and into the future.
Our Mission
At each Mid Atlantic Showcase Series event, we first and foremost aim to run a fun, safe, and competitive tournament for all participating players, coaches, clubs, and families. We couple this initiative with a professional and personal tournament staff. Our boutique Showcase Series is privately organized, and managed by ice hockey tournament professionals who not only bring decades of playing and coaching experience but also remain actively engaged in the USA Hockey landscape as coaches and participants. We use our experience to help make your Mid Atlantic Showcase Series experience unforgettable.
Tournament Staff
We at the Mid Atlantic Showcase Series prides ourself on being just like you, our participants: We are a team of ex-players, current coaches, ice hockey parents, and youth hockey advocates. Simply put, we pride ourselves in providing a competitive and well-run event because we’ve lived and learned by experience. We’re continually adapting and growing our Showcase Series based on what we have witnessed first-hand.
Communication and authenticity are at the forefront of the Mid Atlantic Showcase Series and we as a staff can assure you that we will do our very best to make sure that each email, phone call, or message is personally answered in a timely manner. New managers and coaches, we’re here to help walk you through the process. Youth hockey veterans, we’re here to just give you what you need. Regardless, we’re here to help you out in anyway and will help assure you that registering for a Mid Atlantic Showcase Series tournament was the best decision you made this hockey season.
