Overview

Patriot Park opened to the public in May of 2017 and includes eight fields to serve over 2,000 boys and girls participating in baseball and softball. In addition to regular league play, the park hosts several tournaments and is viewed as one of the premier sites in Nebraska for youth baseball and softball. This $9M park was built on the site of the former Kearney Airfield and is currently situated just south of the Nebraska Veteran’s Home. Thus, the name Patriot Park was chosen to honor those have served or are currently serving our country.

In 2019, the Brad Bowman Field was added at Patriot Park. This is a fully accessible field and was designed and built to allow for all players, regardless of their challenges, to participate in baseball, softball and soccer.
